Air Quality Testing, frequently asked.
Which states require Stage I testing?
State requirements vary. The tests required depend on the equipment and requirements at the site.
What is the difference between Stage I and Stage II vapor recovery?
Stage I returns the vapors displaced during a fuel delivery back to the delivery truck through the vapor riser. PTTI performs Stage I vapor recovery testing. PTTI does NOT perform Stage II vapor recovery.
Do you handle PVV testing for diesel systems?
PVV testing verifies that the pressure/vacuum vent valve opens and closes within its specified range. PTTI brings manometers and test apparatus and assembles the specific paperwork each state requires for the systems present at the site.
